Course Description and Competencies

What to Expect

Talent acquisition is about building the workforce that drives organizational success. Before your organization can hire the right people, it needs a clear understanding of the work to be done, the skills required, and the strategies that will help attract and select qualified candidates. In this course, you will work through three modules of course material. Each module is broken into smaller units, which are comprised of lessons. Studying this material will help you build foundational knowledge of workforce planning, recruitment planning, and employee selection strategy.

At the end of each lesson, you will be able to check your understanding of the material with optional quizzes called Lightning Rounds. At the end of each module, you will have the opportunity to work through an Assessment Practice. Engaging with these activities will help you gauge your readiness for taking the final performance assessments.

Prerequisites:

Employment and Labor Law (D352A) is a prerequisite for this course.
